Muhammadjon Sharipov - (1904-1977), a prominent education staff of Tajikistan, the first director of the Higher pedagogical Institute of Khujand, participant of the Great Patriotic War. He graduated Central Asian Communist University in Tashkent (1929) and began his work as a union Secretary in “Kushchi” in Przevalc city (1924). The teacher of the pedagogical techniqium(1930-32), Director of Higher pedagogical Institute of Khujand (1932-34), Director of part time pedagogical Institute of Stalinabad (1934-35), the founder of the pedagogical institution of Tajikistan in Tashkent (1935-36).From 1936 until begging of the Great Patriotic War, worked in Education Authority system of Uzbekistan as a director of the School, a scientific staff of East department of the National Public Library named after Navoi. After War, he worked in the education system of Przevalce and Tashkent and he was awarded with orders and medals.
Uguloy Shamsiddinova - (1907-1990, Khujand), was a state and a public staff, and graduated from Samarqand pedagogical training courses in 1926.Shamsiddinova's work started as the head of the Khujand women's club (1926-27). The Head of the regional Communist Party (b) (1928-29), the Public Health Commissioner of the USSR Tajikistan (1928-34), Director of the higher pedagogical Institute of Khujand (1934-35), later worked in Party and Soviet (1936-59).she was retired from 1959. Honored Mayor of Leninabad (1977). One of the streets of Khujand named after Uguloy Shamsiddinova. Deputy of Soviet IV of the Tajik SSR (1931). Honored with the Order of “Honorary Fame”, medal and prizes are awarded.
Yusuf Eshonov - (1907, Khujand - 1981, Moscow). Yusuf Eshonov is a prominent member of the party and government, graduated from Central Communist University (1928) and the Central Asian State University (SASU) (1931). He was the third head of the pedagogical Higher Institute of Khujand, who worked from 1935 to 1936. He was a teacher of the Central Communist University from 1928 to 1929, deputy director of University of planning and economics of Central Asia (1931-1932), deputy director of university of the Central Asian Marxism-Leninism (1932-1933), deputy commissioner of the People's Education Council of the USSR Tajikistan, at the same time, Rector of State Pedagogical Institute of Dushanbe, modern State pedagogical University of Tajikistan named after Sadriddin Ayni (1933-1934),Head of Central Asian office KM KVP (1934). He was coworkers of the agricultural institute of the Red Professuaria (1935-1938), editor of the “Supreme Soviet of Vedomosts of the USSR” In 1941; he defended the capital of the country from fascism in the city as a soldier of the people’s division of Lenin district of Moscow. In 1960-1965, he worked as a consultant-interpreter of the Board of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, and since 1968 he retired. Yusuf Eshonov was elected as a deputy of the deputies of thePeople’s Soviet of Tashkent (1931-1933), the deputy of the Soviet of the People's Deputies (1934-1935) and was awarded the title Honored Honorary Honorable of the USSR Tajikistan.
Habibullo Nematulloev - (1900, Uroteppa - 1975, Dushanbe), one of the active participants of the construction of socialism in Tajikistan. Expert teacher of USSR Tajikistan (1960). Gradated from short-term teacher training (1919) of Tashkent University of Red Professorial (1937). Secondary School Teacher, Deputy Chief of the Department of comsomol of the Region (1919-1925), Head of the Department of Education of the Uroteppa region, secretary of the Authority Committee (1926-29), Head of the District Education Department of Kulob (1930). The Director of the higher pedagogical Institute in Khujand (1937-1938). He led the leading positions in the Tajik State Public Order from 1938 to 1947. Minister of Education of the USSR Tajikistan (1947-1954), Deputy Minister of Culture of the USSR Tajikistan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Tajikistan (1954-1960), Head of archive under the Council of Ministers of the Tajik SSR (1960-1974). He was retired from 1974. Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of USSR Tajikistan (Invitation 2,3). Honored with two orders of the Labor’s Red flag, two orders of “Honorary Fame”, medals and honorary awards.
Lev Efimovich Mesenzhnikov was born in 1899 in the Serendina- Buddha village, Chernihiv, Russia. He was a prominent of the educational of Tajikistan. Lev Mesenzhnikov studied at the Arts institute of the Sevski of Orlov Province (1918), and in 1918-1919 worked as a teacher of secondary school of the Novy Bykov city, the commander of the political party department, the Education Department of the Petinsko-Jurilevich district, the commander of this department in the Kharkov Province (1920 -21). He served in Red Army in 1921. Then, as a propagandist of the CPSU (b) Kharkov (1926), the lecturer of the Communist Party of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine (1926-32), the head of the education house of the Dnepropetrovsk party (1932), the head of the department of the party committee in Vysokopol (1933-34), the head of the Department of Education in Dnipropetrovsk city (1935). He has been working since 1935 in Tajikistan as the commander of the CC CP in Tajikistan, 1936-37, Assistant Secretary of Central Committee of the Communist Party of Tajikistan (1937-38). He was the director of the State pedagogical University of Leninabad named after S.M.Kirov from August 1, 1938 to 1942.
Chikorin К.V. - Historian, head of department of Marxism-Leninism of Leninabad State Pedagogical University named after S.M.Kirov. Then, he worked as a Deputy Director of Education and Science at the mentioned University. Chikorin К.V. worked during the prolonged years of the Great Patriotic War (1942-44) as Director of the State Pedagogical Institute of Leninabad, named after S.M.Kirov, and contributed to the strengthening of material-technical, educational and scientific foundation of the institute.

Sattor Kayumov - (1925. 09.20,Yova village, Khujand district- 2005), historian, candidate of historical Sciences (1966), associate Professor (1967). World War II Participant, Honored Worker of the republic of Tajikistan.
He graduated from the Leninabad State Pedagogical University named after S.M.Kirov (1955) and the Academy of Social Sciences at the CPSU (1966). His work began in 1992 at the kolkhoz named after M. Frunze at Khujand district. He served at the Red Army from 1942 to 1950 and worked as the teacher from 1955-1960 at secondary school at Khujand district.From 1960 to 1963, he worked at various positions in the city and district committees of the Communist Party of the Republic of Tajikistan. The master of Universitynamed after S.M.Kirov (1967), teacher (1967-72), senior-teacher (1972-74), the assistant professor of history chair of USSR, the deputy dean of faculty of history and Philology (1974-1987), the dean of faculty of history (1987-1992), vice-rector of Khujand state University(1992-95), Rector of Khujand state Universitynamed afteracademician Bobojon Gafurov(1995-2001). At the period of leadership of Saidullo Abdulloevat the University the financial, technical, educational and scientific stems became very stable. Also new faculty and academic chairman were established. Nosir Salimov Yusupovich - ( December3, 1960, Khujand),the Director of the National Library of Tajikistan, Doctor of Philology ( 2002 ), professor , academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Nosir Salimov Yusupovich was born on December 3 , 1960 in Khujand. In 1982 after graduating from the Faculty of History and Philology of the Leninabad Teaching Institute he workedas an instructor , researcher, and later as a postgraduate student. 1988-1989, a literary employee of the Sadoi Sharq magazine, 1990-1992 research assistant of the Institute of Language and Literature of the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan. Since 1992 , he worked as Assistant Professor of the Departmentof Tajik Literature of the Khujand State University named after academician BobojonGhafurov, head of department of Modern Tajik Literature, director of "Somoniyon Civilization Research Center" (1998-1999), Deputy Rector of Department of Science and Education of Khujand State University named after academician BobojonGhafurov (1999-2001). By the decision of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan from July 3 , 2001 , he was appointed Rector of Khujand State University named after Academician Bobojon Ghafurov , from August 10, 2010 Rector of Tajik State Institute of Languages named after Sotim Ulughzoda , 2012 Director of the National Library of Tajikistan, 2014 Rector of the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Aini In 1990 he defended PhD thesis and in 2002 Doctoral thesis. In 1991 as the best young scientists for the series of articles he was given the Certificate of Culture of Tajikistan. In 1999, for his book"Somonids in the Mirror of History" he was awarded the "KamoliKhujandi" Prize of the Government of Sugd region. During his work he had published following monographs: «Culture in history» (Khujand, 1997), “Heritage of Oli Somon” (Khujand, 2001,) and published more than 100 scientific articles.

Nizomiddin Zohid - (June 8, 1957, Kanibadam district), orientalist, doctor of Philology (2004), Professor (2005). Excellence in education of the Republic of Tajikistan (2004). Graduated from the faculty of Oriental languages studies, Tajikistan state Pedagogical University named after V. I. Lenin (1979). He began his career as a translator of Arabic language in Baghdad, Iraq (1979-1981). In 1981 he began working in the research Institute of language and literature of the Tajik SSR. Researcher-trainer of the Leningrad Institute of the USSR Academy of Sciences (1983-1984), post-graduate student of the Tajik SSR Academy of Sciences (1984-1987), researcher (1988-1990), scientific Secretary of the Institute (1990-1992), head of the Department of philological research of the Khujand Scientific center of Tajikistan (1992-1997), Deputy Director (1998-1999), Director of the center of the Institute of Islamic civilization of the Khujand state University named after academician Bobojon Gafurov (1999-2000), Deputy -rector for educational work (2000-2001) Deputy -rector for science( 2001-2010), rector of Khujand state University named after academician B. Gafurov (2010). The Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan. More than 100 articles and six scientific dissertations, some of which were published in Russia, Iran and other countries, were published in the study and consideration of the issues of Arab literature of the peoples of Iran, Arab-Tajik relations, history and culture of the Samanids. He considered in his dissertation and a series of articles by Iranian population and poets the origin of primary Islamic cities, which became an integral part of Tajik-Persian literature, newly elected Islam, equipping part of his Persian-Tajik literature. Vahhob Nabiyev Mashrafovich – (January 11, 1952, Chorkuh village of Isfara district) scientist, historian, doctor of historical Sciences (1998), Professor, academician of the Academy of pedagogical and social Sciences of the Russian Federation. Vahhob Nabiyev was born on 11 January 1952 in the village of Chorkuh, Isfara district. Graduated from the faculty of history and postgraduate Department of History of Tajik state Institute named by V. I. Lenin (nowadays the Tajik national University). From 1975 to 1984 - senior laboratory assistant, assistant teacher, senior teacher of Tajik state Institute of Arts named after M. Gafur Usmonov - (September 10, 1958, B. Gafurov district) candidate of physics- mathematics science. He was born in 1958 on the 10th of September, in B.Gafurov district. Having left secondary school, in 1975-1979 studied at Leninabad State teacher training Institute named after S.M. Kirov and after graduating it began his activity as a senior assistant of the department of theoretical physics of this Institute. Then in 1979-1981 was a trainee-researcher of physics – technical Institute in Leningrad, in 1982-1985 a postgraduate of Tajikistan State University. In 1987-1992 acted in the positions of teacher, senior teacher, docent of theoretical physics department of Leninabad State teacher training Institute named after S.M. Kirov. From 1998-1999 worked as a head of science department, then as a head of education department of the University. In 1998-1999 was a deputer rector on international relationship of Khujand State University named after academician B. Gafurov, in 1999-2000 a deputer rector on out of class activities of this University. From 2000 till 2005 worked hard as a deputer rector on trades of Khujand State University named after academician B. Gafurov, in 2005-2010 as a deputer rector on out class activities of the University. In 2010-2011 was a docent ofthe department of theoretical physics under Khujand State University named after academician B. Gafurov. In 2011-2012 worked in the position of deputer rector on out of class activities of mountain- metallurgical Institute in Chkalovsk (Buston). From the 11th of May, 2012 on the decision of the government of the Republic of Tajikistan was appointed rector of Khujand State University named after academician B. Gafurov and worked at this post till the 31st of October, 2014.
Maksudov Anvar Temurovich was born on March 3 , 1964 in Khujand, Sughd province, in the intelligent family. After graduating the secondary school # 3 in Khujand, from 1982 till 1984 he served in the army of the USSR. In 1984, he entered the State University of Tajikistan named after V.I.Lenin, graduated from the Department of Physics and Mathematics in 1989 and received a Honors Diploma. He started his career in 1989 from the senior laboratory assistant of the Physics Department of Leninabad Pedagogical Institute and later he worked as a senior teacher in the Department of Theory of Physics of this university. From 1993 to 1996 he worked as Head of department of education and science, senior teacher, dean of faculty, acting director of Khujand Branch of Technological University of Tajikistan. From 2010 to 2014 he was the Director of the Polytechnic Institute of Tajik Technical University named after academician M. Osimi Khujand. Married, has two children. According to the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan from October 29, 2014 he worked in the post of the Rector of Khujand State University named after academician Bobojon Gafurov was released and in March, 15, 2017 was released from the post.
A.Muksudov has defended his candidacy in 1992, on theme "Some Issues in Magnetic Model Research" in Moscow, Russia. He is the author of more than 75 scientific articles, 1 monograph, 29 intellectual certificates, 5 methodical books, 9 international projects. He has contributed to the development and management of the information management system of the above mentioned institution, and is also a leader in the project of more than 53 e-books. He made a significant contribution for the development and application of programs in the information technology system of the institute and the content of the educational plan for credit technology.
He was awarded the medal of "Master of Service" (2011), "Medal Sharaf", 2nd degree of Complementary Commission against the Corruption (2014), Tajikistan's Higher Education Officer, and several Certificates of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Republic of Tajikistan, the head of Sogd region. Married, has got two children. He is the member of People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan.
