As the stuff of the theory and method of teaching of major subjects increased, with the Order of the Rector of Khujand State University named after academician B.Gafurov № 157 from 30.06.2017, the department divided into 2 individually departments – Theory and method of teaching native language, and Natural and mathematical, aesthetic education and the method of its teaching. Currently docent Abdusamadova Munira Abdugafforovna has been working as the head of the Natural and mathematical, aesthetic education and the method of its teaching, and there are 11 experienced teachers in this department.

The teachers of the department, docents Q.Burhonov, A.Nazarov, S.Vallamatova, A.Toshmatov, S.Rabiev, seniors R.Sultonov, M.Shukrulloeva, S.Karomatulloev are making their effort on improving the quality of Education of students – future teachers of the primary classes. The department has a close relation with secondary schools and is active on seminars and conferences. The seminars and discussions are conducted in a good way.
